Using Web 2.0 Tools to Differentiate Student Assessment (Create 2.1.3)

One useful and relatively simple tool that is visually engaging, interactive, and can also be fun is Glogster.  Glogster is a type of graphic blog that can be really useful in the classroom.  Teachers can use Glogster to deliver information to students in a differentiated way; each "glog" can contain audio, photos, graphs, charts, and videos which will appeal to different types of learners.

Students can also use Glogster to create visually stimulating projects, the 21st century equivalent of a poster. With Glogster, students can use research skills as they locate photos and videos that apply to their content, and they can practice creating the types of presentations that will help them as they go out into the work force.
